About Nerella N. Chauvin
Nerella N. Chauvin is an author, occupational therapist, epilepsy care educator and applied researcher with a passion for making complex topics easier to understand. She writes about the brain, menopause, epilepsy, health and everyday life, always with warmth and a touch of humor.
Her adult books include The Menopause Dictionary, Understanding Menopausal Epilepsy, and The French Pastry Book, a Collection of Traditional French Desserts for Beautifully Complicated Women, who believe that cake can sometimes be just as important as science.
Nerella is also the creator of The Electric Brain children's book series. Titles such as The Neuron and The Electric Brain Kids: Epilepsy help children and families learn about the brain and nervous system through friendly characters, colorful illustrations and simple explanations.
Whether she is writing about neurons, seizures, hormones or pastries, her goal is the same: to turn complicated subjects into something people can understand, enjoy, and remember.
